My mother loves to go to the opera and symphony, but found that a constant dry nagging cough was keeping her from attending. What could she do? I suggested that she hold her ring finger of one hand with the fingers of the other. It worked! Now she discreetly holds her index finger whenever she feels that little tickle and she is again a season ticket holder.

My mother loves to go to the opera and symphony, but found that a constant dry nagging cough was keeping her from attending. What could she do?
